Christmas Fabric Designs (yet to sew) — Alie Jane is a renowned Newcastle, Australian designer who specializes in vintage inspired designs, blending retro practicality with modern vintage inspired fabrics. Founded in 2005 by designer Alison Jane Bodman the brand gained popularity, due to the designs being designed and sewn by Alie Jane herself in store. Being one offs, her sustainable ethics and practices as well as her design skills. The travel accessory range has branched out into homewares and kids/dog wear as well as hats and hair wraps for the ladies. Alie Jane’s designs are purchased equally as gifts and for personal use. Alie Jane’s shop also specializes in small run fabrics that are high quality cotton and linen, with most arriving from Japan as well as laminated fabric and p.v.c coated fabric from Mexico. The bricks and mortar store is decked out with 1950’s displays, retro fittings while rockabilly music plays in the background
